Registration for Instructor Trainer courses is done only through invitation and application.
SAFE POWERBOAT HANDLING INSTRUCTOR TRAINER
The Safe Powerboat Handling Instructor Trainer course is prepares current Safe Powerboat Handling Instructors to teach the Safe Powerboat Handling Instructor Certification Courses. Candidates in the 30+ hour, three-day course are evaluated in their powerboat handling skills as well as their knowledge, presentation, and instructor evaluation skills. This course is taught by US Powerboating Master Instructor Trainers and requires a co-teach of the Safe Powerboat Handling Instructor Course.
SAFETY & RESCUE BOAT HANDLING INSTRUCTOR TRAINER
Safe Powerboat Handling Instructor Trainers who wish to teach the Safety and Rescue Boat Handling Course are required to be evaluated during a co-teach of the Safety and Rescue one-and-one Instructor Course with a US Powerboating Master Instructor Trainer. Candidates are evaluated in their powerboat safety and rescue boat handling skills as well as their knowledge, presentation, and instructor evaluation skills.
MARK BOAT HANDLING INSTRUCTOR TRAINER
Safe Powerboat Handling Instructor Trainers who wish to teach the Mark Boat Handling Instructor Course are required to be evaluated during a co-teach of the Mark Boat Handling one-and-one Instructor Course with a US Powerboating Master Instructor Trainer. Candidates are evaluated in their powerboat mark boat handling skills as well as their knowledge, presentation, and instructor evaluation skills.
CRUISING POWERBOAT INSTRUCTOR TRAINER
Cruising Powerboat Instructors who wish to become Cruising Powerboat Instructor Trainers are required to be evaluated by co-teaching a Cruising Powerboat Instructor course with Senior or Master Cruising Powerboat Instructor Trainer. Candidates are evaluated in their powerboat safety and boat handling skills as well as their knowledge, presentation, instructor evaluation skills and class management.
