NEWPORT, RI (September 2, 2015) – US Powerboating and partner Confident Captain/Ocean Pros will be exhibiting at the 2015 Newport International Boat Show September 17-20 in Newport, Rhode Island. US Powerboating’s booth space, located in Tent A at the Newport Yachting Center Marina, will showcase the wide array of course offerings and educational materials that form the backbone of their on-the-water training programs. US Powerboating’s friendly and knowledgeable staff members will be on hand to help answer questions and connect show goers with local course providers.
Confident Captain/Ocean Pros, a partner and US Powerboating-approved Powerboat Training Center will be hosting their At-the-Helm education programs during all four days of the show. At-the-Helm offers innovative training for boaters of all experience levels. Taught by Professional U.S. Coast Guard-licensed and US Powerboating Certified Powerboat Instructors, At-the-Helm programs empower participants with the skills and confidence they need to get the most out of their boating experience. At-the-Helm features curriculum and skills from US Powerboating’s Safe Powerboat Handling courses.
At-the-Helm is open to all boat show attendees. Registration for 90-minute and three-hour sessions is now available online.
